Adadaa has a Selvaraghavan-meets-Ilayaraja of yore kind of tune. Pretty listenable, with a rather simplistic orchestration and places where Harini sounds like she’s singing a megaserial title song. Listening to Line kidaichidudhu one wonders why Yuvan harks back to his childish Aravindan-like compositions (Agaram’s Director did Aravindan btw!). Ilayaraja’s shades again in Unnai naan. This one has a nice package of a pleasing tune wrapped with some attaractive orchestration. The Deva-styled Ponnu thotta and the evocatively titled Toppu egiri gets both on our nerves and dunguvaar. The 2 melodies in Agaram should hold Yuvan and the movie in good stead.
