The Inside Man - Chaiyya chaiyya lowdown!

Anu Malik made adequate noise about Chamma chamma being used by Baz Luhrmann in Moulin Rouge. But Rahman did not utter a word. Everybody else did. Chaiyya chaiyya, during the opening and closing credits of the new Spike Lee movie Inside man (starring Denzel Washington, Clive Owen and Jodie Foster) sounds utterly pointless. The song has been added for just one possible reason – Spike loved it. And, with those annoying additional intrusions by Terence Blanchard, it sounds almost like a madcap teen fan of Rahman trying out his fave composer’s tune as a background music using his home video editor!

There you go again!
Do you even know who Terence Blanchard is?

He is one of the most respectable living trumpet players in the business after Wynton Marsalis.

But I guess you need to go to the net or ask others to supply you with info.
Maybe you should watch another film that starred Denzel Washington and Spike Lee
.Dont go to IMDB or beg for info. The film is called MO BETTER BLUES.

You made Ternce Blanchard Sound like some DJ from India doing a remix.

What do you mean by little intrusions?

You sound like an idiot who has been given the pen to write.

I think it is awesome that Rahman’song was used. This could just be the beginning of a cross over from India unlike the way they used Chamma Chamma.

But for you to speak of Terence Blanchard like that.

Sure man! you are no musician .How would you know?

LOSER!!LEARN YOUR MUSIC THEN WRITE!!

Even Rahman would be upset that some idiot who knows nothing about music writes about Terence Blanchard the way he does.

Why dont you guys log onto ww.terenceblanchard.com before you think he is a mad cap.

Thanks for those extraordinarily polite comments. Again! This blog is my opinion. Period. You think this is crap? Fair enough. I respect your point of view.
