The indi-pop version of Piya milan ko should have Pankaj Mullick turning over in his proverbial grave. The mellow Kaise kahoon mein gains from Shashwati’s sweet singing as does the mild-sufi flavored Ishq from Zubeen’s vocals. Abbas Jelani composed title song is easy on the ears with an 80s sound. Anand Milind’s Jaana Ek Kahani carries their trademakr sound further, amply aided by Shaan. While Lamha Lamha passes muster with an oft used raag’s yet another rendition, O Sikandar has Kailash Kher using his done-to-death vocals in the same old way, in an otherwise predictable wannabe qawali.
