Small, annoying update!

Posted by: Karthik In: Uncategorized

New to Milliblog? If you like what you read here, may I suggest subscribing to Milliblog's RSS feed or e-mail alerts?. Thanks for visiting!

Request users to register once - just once - for commenting. When you try to comment, you’d get the ‘you need to be logged in to comment’ message - click on the link for ‘logged in’ and choose the ‘register’ option in the subsequent page…simple! I’ve had enough problems with names of people commenting getting mixed up. Did some Googling for a solution, in vain. Decided to enable ‘register for comments’ options. So, what happens now? One, the number of people who wish to comment comes down by half - since milliblog becomes ‘one more’ site where you need to register - a terrible chore. But, trust me, the registration is rather basic and you do it just once! This is also to avoid anonymous comments - what with the recent Kathy Sierra issue that has the blogging world buzzing endlessly! I should perhaps think twice before thrashing a soundtrack in the future :-)

Ok :)
I think ur site and brangan’s are worthy enough to register !
Though sometimes i feel you are bit rash in ur reviews ,the usage of words and the fact that its ‘your’ opinion makes me not to miss ur blog ..

(Unfortunately baradwaj ha smoves to desipundit which ic blocked in my company..)

Thanks!

I have suggested to Bharadwaj to move to his own domain and server - blogicalconclusion.com is in fact available! Try bypassing the block by subscribing to Bharadwaj’s feed via, say bloglines, the feed link is,
http://desipundit.com/baradwajrangan/feed/

On the rash part…I agree. But ‘waxing eloquent’ and ‘beating around the bush’ is outside the purview of milliblog, what with a acute scarcity of words :-) So, the end conclusion may sound a bit rash, most of the times. But again, with such severe info overload and as a result extreme cases of attention-deficit-disorder, 100 words may just be what the good doc ordered!

  • viraajan: Karthik, I wish to see your review on any of D.Imman's forthcoming album who is in par with SD's standards :)
  • Arun: There's also Bombay and Kolkata as part of the series. Definitely, a commendable effort by Saregama!
  • shriramece: "Thajam thajam" is outstanding! A blend of many raagas, I feel.... I can find traces of Reetigowlai, then Bhageshri & later Sriranjani! Wow... a g
