Wanna wanna is the pick of this soundtrack, for its pretty appealing hook and sprightly vocals by Shaan and Sunidhi. Hello is plain silly and I sincerely hope the makers have blocked the mobile number being used as the song’s highlight. The hip-hop flavored Tikhi tikhi and trance-infused Loving you work decently on the instant-gratification score. Considering director David R. Ellis didn’t have any situation for musical distractions, leave alone time, in the breathtakingly fast script of Cellular, Vikram Bhatt’s brief to music-man Pritam may have been fairly straight - “Chaar dinchak gaane de de yaar!” Pritam delivers just that.

Keywords: Zayed Khan, Urmila Matondkar, Aftab Shivdasani, Sanjay Suri, Amrita Arora, Tanushree Dutta

Those were the exact words RGV said to Panchamda for the film Dhrohi. When he was not so satisified with the score, he brought in Keeravani also known as MM Kreem for one song.

Something I missed while doing the review - Tikhi tikhi is lifted completely from Turkish pop superstar Tarkan’s ‘Dudu’. Have updated http://www.itwofs.com with details and audio clips!

i wanna make one thing clear………. pritam has stopped liftin tunes after bhagam bhag……..all his cores for raqeeb kya love story hai (only 1 tune lift) and speed were canned in 2004-2005… i think he has immense talent jus tht he bowed down under the pressure of the industry……..but now i think he will not resort to copying…….my personal view……….

I hope so too. He’s got the pulse of the listeners as for as the sound goes.

But one strange thing about this bowing down to pressure. Considering the number of tunes he has ‘used’ from Tarkan, is it that there are so many producers/ heroes who listen to Tarkan regularly and ask our friend to lift them?

@ karthick

actually he is himself a very diehard fan of tarken……..he even has his photo in his bedroom……….he is a world music fan…..he listens to pink flloyd n all nuevo flamenco guitarists…….in my honest opinion aa pass aa was a jus co incidence of 5 tune bec as i m learnin classical there is a khayal which is also similar……….U WONT BELEIVE HE STILL HAS ORIGINAL YA GHALY N TAK BISAKAH PLAYIN IN HIS IPOD AND HE IS THEIR GREAT FAN……..ALL THOSE RUMOURS BOUIT THE YA GHALY CASE WERE FALSE…….now considering producers prime eg is CHANA VE CHANA N JAANE KAISE WHICH WERE FORCED BY PRODUCERS IN DA FILM……actually pritam wanted to do experiment tht he did wid aawarapan to gangsters but those butts din take credits after they promised him……..antr trivia…..u knw director lovely sing frm klsh badly wanted “ude jab jab zulfe teri” in itz rocking…….but din wanna take copyrights since film was goin overbudget…..so pritam had to personally spend 4 lacs (he got only 1 lac for da song) n get da permission frm audio company……..

I think Pritam is also a fan of Amr Diab. But then he has superbly recreated some of his songs
