Do you wanna partner does have a certain charm to it, mainly unleashed by Udit’s entry even as Shaan’s lively vocals do the same thing to You’re my love. Dupatta tera nau rang da and Soni de nakhre work too, as cathy, techo-laden ditties - Labh Janjua’s grooving being the latter’s highlight! Maria is the only track that’s at once predictable and tedious. Despite their above-average tracks in The Killer biting the dust, Sajid Wajid finally find their groove in Partner, since the sound they have evolved here is very Pritam’ish - groovy orchestration, simple tunes and very decent vocals.

Keywords: David Dhawan, Salman Khan, Govinda, Katrina Kaif, Lara Dutta

Hey I had thought that Himesh had done the music for partner. I guess Sajid Wajid were a last minute replacement. A good score nevertheless. Must get my hands on this cd

Dupatta Tera and Soni Tere are too good… belonging to UK-Bhangra genre, they are packaged really well. It’s a treat to hear such songs after a long time.

Do you wanna partner and You are my love are catchy and have a fun-factor attached to them.

My pick of the album is Soni Tere, lyrics deserve a special mention(besides the vocals).

I think it is the album of the month. Great vocals and excellent arrangements make the entire album enjoyable. Soni De Nakhre deserves a special mention. Welcome back Sajid Wajid.

I agree, pman. A thoroughly enjoyable, massy album. Good for this very neglected duo.

  • Arun: There's also Bombay and Kolkata as part of the series. Definitely, a commendable effort by Saregama!
  • shriramece: "Thajam thajam" is outstanding! A blend of many raagas, I feel.... I can find traces of Reetigowlai, then Bhageshri & later Sriranjani! Wow... a g
