With seductive dialogs and a slow, alluring tune, Anaikkindra thaagam works really well, more so due to Bombay Jayashree’s fab vocals. Suthudhey too has a very neat retro sound, but the blatant, silly Tamil version of Aserejé is nauseating. Kanavile has earnest vocals by Sathyan but a largely middling tune. Muzhu neela kadhai has some enticing backgrounds and a catchy tune ably handled by Megha and Sunitha Sarathi. The three theme pieces are reasonably interesting, despite assorted influences. Srikanth Deva is considerably more likeable than his usual brand of run-of-the-mill albums, in Nepaali – barring that sick tune lift, of course!

Keywords: Bharath, Meera Jasmine, Mandolin U Rajesh, Nepali

Hi this is CK.. Hey how could you say that the soundtracks are good. Seriously too many lifts… The theme is a blatant lift from kill bill. Sutudhey sutudhey reminds me of sorgam madhuviley throughout the song. Muzhu neela kadai is again lifted.. The beats are from Mayya mayya and the first chorus with lyrics “wanna become lady bomb” is from dhoom2 “sexy lady on the phone”. Pity he is copying from Pritham-the biggest copycat..:-P Then that las ketchup song needn’t be mentioned at all. Just felt like saying this…. Karthik if u try u can find the lifts easily…:-D I’m referring to the 2 other songs which we claim not to be copied. Worst album..

I mean if u consider his previous albums this is far better in terms of quality… Yes true that his previous albums were also lifted but this album is better cos it has the usual lifts but its worth hearing if you ignore the lifts…

  • viraajan: Karthik, I wish to see your review on any of D.Imman's forthcoming album who is in par with SD's standards :)
  • Arun: There's also Bombay and Kolkata as part of the series. Definitely, a commendable effort by Saregama!
  • shriramece: "Thajam thajam" is outstanding! A blend of many raagas, I feel.... I can find traces of Reetigowlai, then Bhageshri & later Sriranjani! Wow... a g
