Shamir Tandon’s Tu makke di roti is assembly line nonsense – except for the idea of using brothers Daler and Mika along with Asha. Tauseef’s three compositions – Teetar, Namasteji and Behna ki shaadi are even more painful. Mercifully, old-timers Jatin Lalit’s (composed when things were hunky-dory huh?) Samandar is tolerably zingy. The duo’s other track, Ek dil ki makes us nostalgic of a period when they were ruling the roost, even though it sounds a bit dated now. Mr White Mr Black’s soundtrack is clearly outdated with a saving grace in the form of an ex-composer duo’s two tracks!
