Music review: Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi (Hindi – Ravindra Jain)

Posted by: Karthik In: Hindi OST

Amol Palekar and Zarina Wahab run in slow motion when Shaan and Shreya exchange their worldly belongings in Mujhme zinda and the sappy Dekhe humne. Mandir hai literally has honey dripping out of it while in Dono nibhayen, sankalp and dharam hold fort. Kya soch ke with its late 80s sound is the most modern of all. Lo ji hum harks back to HAHK’s playfulness and the vows exchanged in Sang sang is bound to make a prenup blush. Jhirmir sits uncomfortably between decades while Neend mein hai is the only thing that works. Ek soundtrack…aisa bhi – is zamaane mein!

Keywords: Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi, Barjatya to the power of 4, Sonu Sood, Isha Koppikar, Alok Nath, Smita Jaykar, I love my family, Ravindra Jain
