With inane lyrics, the title song and Nuvvu ready are insipid, to put it mildly, while A to Z, despite equally silly lyrics, is at least catchy in a weird way! O Manmadhuda is lovely, Devi reusing his Kannada Sangama title song effectively, but the techno’ish Nenu ni raja is plain lame. The rollicking folk sound in Yenthapani chestiviro is hip Andhra masala while Devi tries a odd classical combo in Ghanana ghanana which just passes muster. Ghanana’s other version with Hindi film titles is corny! King doesn’t have extravagant music befitting its title and just about makes the cut!

Oo manmadhuda is nice, but I felt, the choice of singers could surely have been better. When it comes to singing in high pitch, the guy became hopeless.Even the female vocals did not suit the song.

Except for O Manmadhuda every other song appears to be ‘dance’ oriented. But enjoyed a telugu album after many months.
Devi’s songs are always catchy which is what I like..
Also the lyrics which do sound inane they are sheer fun..
Keep goin Devi..
By the way Karthik did you omit mentioning the title track ‘King’ by purpose or was it a mistake..

Agree, mostly standard bland DSP beats, except the classical touch in Ghanana, which worked very well. Wonder why DSP doesn’t focus on such stuff.
