With its typical yuppie folk sound, Kalavaaniye is strictly average, though the composing duo use pleasant, Vidyasagar’esque sounds in the interlude. Mudhal mudhalaai uses a similar template and just passes muster, while Seeman’s Pesama fans a revolution, uninspiringly.
