Music review: Agyaat (Hindi – Bapi-Tutul)

Posted by Karthik

Agyaat is sure sign that Ram Gopal Varma has lost it, musically. His pet composers, Bapi-Tutul deliver yet another turkey, most probably because they are arranging RGV’s own, mindless tunes. Jai shiv bum shambu is gimmicky nonsense and Kiss U day and night apes a bad, ‘lifted off another South East Asian number’ Pritam song. Khoobsurat is a shocking reworking of Rahman’s Tu muskura from Yuvvraaj, while Jungle jungle should serve the purpose for some clotheless moments with Priyanka Kothari. Sun sakte ho and Na koi offer some mild scares. The movie may be good horror; the soundtrack is horrible.

Keywords: RGV, Ram Gopal Varma, Agyaat, Bapi-Tutul, Paying peanuts; getting monkeys, Does agyaat even require a soundtrack?, which smart alec record label executive thought of making a soundtrack of this mess?

RGV’s scaring tactics include use of such soundtracks.

  • yogi

    LOL.

No mention of any singers anywhere.

    LOL @ keywords and tags

Why would you need songs (exclude BGM) for a horror flick? are the hero-heroine doing a Yashraj sort Switzerland 500 dance with the ghosts?
