Raaz 3 (Music review), Hindi – Jeet Ganguly & Rashid Khan

Rashid Khan’s sole contribution, Deewana, despite its uncredited Egyptian origin, is an engaging melody, thanks largely to Javed Ali. Shafqat’s Zindagi se and KK’s Rafta ratfa are both lovely – beautifully sung and a soulful tunes that soar at all the right points, orchestrated well. Oh my love is an annoyingly predictable and simplistic both as a tune and the backgrounds, while Kya raaz hai is even worse – mind-bogglingly outdated faux-Middle Eastern mess. Khayalon mein rounds off the soundtrack unimpressively; barring its unique rhythm, the tune falls flat. Mixed bag of a soundtrack by Jeet, despite his Bengali original reuse.

Keywords: Raaz 3, Jeet Ganguly, Rashid Khan

Note: As usual, Jeet uses his Bengali originals in this soundtrack too – 3 of them. They include,
1. Oh My Love – Oh My Love (Amanush, 2010)
2. Rafta Rafta – Bojhena Se (Prem Amar, 2009)
3. Zindagi Se – Porle Mone (Awara, 2012)
