Boss (Music review), Hindi – Meet Bros Anjan Ankit, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Chirantan Bhatt & PA Deepak

Posted by Karthik

But for pronouncing it to mean not-so-appealing smell, the title song is a catchy hip-hop listen! Pitah se meanders along pointlessly and other variants of title song/theme end Meet Bros Anjan Ankit’s account swiftly. Yo Yo Honey Singh’s Party All Night drones on even more pointlessly. Hum na tode, oddly credited to PA Deepak, and not Vidyasagar, lacks all the chutzpah the original had, despite Vishal’s valiant efforts. The surprising winner is Chirantan Bhatt’s funky Har kisi ko recreation, sung wonderfully well Nikhil D’Souza! Its other version, by Arijit Singh and Neeti Mohan is equally good too! Largely insignficant soundtrack.

Don’t you think the Har Kisi Ko rendition by Arijit and Sunidhi is one of the rare cases that it’s actually better than the original!?

    • Kiran (VIMS)

Also, Arijit always get a song which has more than one version ..!!

The beginning tune of Boss Titile song is a copy of Jalwa song from movie WANTED.. look at the lyrics comparison

    Jalwa (wanted)

All Rise To The Rhythm N The Beat So High
    Mera Jalwa Jalwa Hai Wide
To The Rock And Dhool Some Light

    Boss (Boss)

    BOSS! hai hukum ka ikka
    BOSS! hai laakhon ka sikka
    BOSS! har jagah pe likkha
